The WeBuildAlaska Campaign is made possible through funding received from Alaska’s Construction Industry Progress Fund (CIPF). The mission of CIPF is to advance the interests and image of Alaska’s construction industry. WeBuildAlaska is a workforce initiative designed to be Alaska’s one-stop-shop for information on training, employment, and opportunities within Alaska’s construction industry. The goal of this campaign is to provide quality jobs and career opportunities to candidates interested in building a successful career within Alaska’s construction industry.
WeBuildAlaska was developed and implemented through a partnership between Associated General Contractors of Alaska and the CIPF Board of Directors and is made possible through contributions made by many signatory trade employers. The campaign seeks to build a stronger, more skilled workforce in Alaska and is focused on recruitment and establishing a pipeline for funneling interested individuals into skilled trade training programs with the ultimate goal of expanding Alaska’s construction workforce to meet future industry demands WeBuildAlaska is focused on helping Alaskans develop the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the construction industry, which is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the state. By providing Alaska Construction Training resources in ONE place, WeBuildAlaska aims to create a pipeline of talented and dedicated workers who can take on the challenges of this dynamic industry and contribute to the growth and development of Alaska.
